This marks India’s first arbitration-eligible year, with his request for a raise from $760,000 to $4 million being met at $3.8 million by the Reds.Aside from India, the Reds face the challenge of finding playing time for several young players, including Elly De La Cruz, Matt McLain, Spencer Steer, Christian Encarnacion-Strand, and Noelvi Marte. Additionally, they’ve added infielder Jeimer Candelario through free agency.
