So today we will discuss here what kind of sweets a person with heart disease can eat and its recipe:

1. Thinai Payasam (Small Millets):

Materials:

  • 1 cup small milliliters
  • 2 cups jaggery
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • Elaichi 2
  • 5 pieces of cashew nuts
  • Raisins 5 pieces
  • 1 tsp oil for frying nuts

Method:

Boil millets in water with a pinch of salt for 5 minutes in a pressure cooker. Add jaggery in it. Add coconut milk and cardamom. Let it boil for 5 minutes. Add roasted cashews and raisins. Delicious payasam is ready to serve hot.

2. Samba Wheat Rava (Payasam):

Materials:

  • Samba is the rava of wheat – 150 grams
  • molasses – 150 grams
  • the milk – 500 ml
  • cashew nuts- 8-10
  • cardamom -10

Method:

Heat the Tawa. Add 1 tsp oil and dry cashew nuts and keep it aside. Then fry the samba wheat rava until it turns golden brown. Pour 400ml water, leave to boil, then add fried rava and stir well. Now add milk, let it boil. Add jaggery and boil for 15 minutes. Add cardamom powder and cashews and stir one last time. Serve hot.
