MI VS SRH MATCH SUMMARY:
In a high-scoring clash between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the IPL, the players were at their best in power-hitting and explosive displays of thrilling cricket.
Batting first, Sunrisers Hyderabad got off to a flying start courtesy of an explosive innings from Abhishek Sharma and Head. Later, Henrik Klaasen’s explosive innings of 80 off 34 balls and the brilliant partnership between Markram and Henrik Klaasen helped SRH post a target of 277/3 in front of MI, breaking RCB’s record of 263 against PWI, 11 years ago. And made a new record of highest runs in the history of IPL.
However, Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma got Mumbai Indians off to a good start with a brilliant counter-attack. After Rohit and Ishan lost their wickets, Tilak Verma’s 34-ball 64 and Tim David’s 22-ball 42 eventually saw Mumbai lose to SRH by 31 runs.
This explosive match not only broke the record for highest runs in IPL, but also broke the record of 35 sixes with a total of 38 sixes hit by both the teams in this match.
