“AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile: Massive Outages!”

AT&T experienced network issues on Thursday morning, causing disruptions for customers attempting to make calls, send texts, or access the internet. Verizon and T-Mobile also faced some network outages, albeit to a lesser extent. Over 31,000 AT&T customers reported outages on DownDetector, with reports peaking at 4 am ET and resurging at 6 am ET.

Despite customer complaints online, AT&T had not officially acknowledged the network outage by the time of reporting. The company had been dealing with sporadic outages, including a temporary 911 outage in parts of the southeastern United States.

Verizon and T-Mobile customers also reported around 1,000 outages, according to DownDetector. However, neither Verizon nor T-Mobile had responded to requests for comment at the time of writing. The extent of the disruption and its cause remained unclear.

DownDetector, a digital-service tracking site, provides real-time status information for numerous services worldwide. The site monitors over 12,000 services across 47 countries.

The situation is still unfolding, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
