Moto G34 5G Features And Specs
Design:
It has a vegan leather design, making it a very nice looking phone. Motorola phone feels really premium in hand. Even the sub-Rs 10k G34 won’t feel cheap when you get your hands on it. It has the feel of vegan leather and I love the color too. It has flat sides and houses a 5000mAh battery. It’s 183.3g, so it’s light and not too heavy. And it has Panda Glass protection. It has a 3.5mm jack, a microphone, a USB Type C port, a speaker grill and a SIM card tray on the left side. There is a noise canceling microphone and it is called Dolby Atmos. It has a power on off button along with a volume rocker and a fingerprint sensor.
Bezel and Display:
The side and top bezels are of average size. Also average chin size for a sub 10K phone. It has a 90% screen-to-body ratio. The display is a 6.5″ HD+, 90Hz IPS LCD display with 580 nits of brightness. So if I talk about quality, it’s a decent quality display. It has a punch hole sensor with 90% screen-to-body.
Processor:
There are plenty of phones powered by the Qualcomm SD695 SoC But, they are between Rs.15K-20K. Here you get Qualcomm SD695 SoC under Rs 10,000.
Storage:
There are 2 variants, 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. 4GB RAM is LPDDR4X RAM type and storage type is UFS 2.2. As of now, there are variants like UMCP, EMMC etc. in this price range But, it has UFS 2.2 storage type and hence the AnTuTu score is quite decent, around 4.5L.
The above variant is 8GB and 128GB. 11K for 4GB RAM and 12K for 8GB RAM. So there is only a difference of Rs.1 thousand. But with effective price card discounts, you can get it under Rs 10K for 128GB RAM. But let me tell you, if you are thinking of buying it, go for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Because you get an extra 4GB of RAM.
Camera:
Moto G34 has a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary macro sensor.
It has a 16MP front camera. Usually, you get 8MP or 13MP in this price range But it has a 16MP front camera.
In normal conditions, the picture is decent. But the camera app has many features. There is slow motion, portrait mode, pro mode and you can choose colors. If you want muted, natural, neutral colors, or if you want enhanced colors, like punchy colors, social media worthy, there’s a mode for that too. So choose the color you want and you will get the photos.
With the macro sensor, you can not only take pictures, but also shoot videos.
There is also an auto night vision mode. When you click a photo, it will automatically detect it.
If I talk about video graphics, you can shoot Full HD 30FPS. While shooting video, there is also audio zoom.
Connection:
The Moto G34 features Wi-Fi support for 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac standards, GPS, Bluetooth version 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C connectivity, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and active 4G capability on both SIM cards.
Everything is there. The connection is certainly excellent. It supports VoNR, which stands for Voice Calling over 5G.
Sensor:
It has side mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, gyroscope and all sensors.

Other features of Moto G34:
Let’s talk a little about the OS, Because some features are really good. In Android 14, you get Motorola’s MyUX and it’s very concise and it’s good. You will get a clean UI and you will definitely get some customization options. You get Moto Gestures support and there’s also a Moto Hub where you can customize but there’s also apps and you’ll get some recommendations in this window.
There is a Google Dialer and a Moto Unplugged feature similar to Focus mode. So when you go to the office, only your specific 4 apps should open and you can do rest in focus mode.
You will not get it in Android 4.1.28 but in Android 8.1.28 you will get RediFor feature. Where you can cast to a big screen and with Redifor you can do it seamlessly.
There’s also Moto Secure which adds phishing detection features. It will tell you if you are visiting a phishing website.
You get Dolby Atmos tuned stereo speakers here. So the speaker quality and loudness is good. I would say video viewing is decent due to HD Plus. But remember, Netflix has added support for Widevine L1. So it’s full HD and whitelisted. But the screen is HD Plus.
Gaming performance:
If I talk about gaming performance, you can play BGMI or COD games on low settings in mobiles available in this price range. In this, you can play on medium to high settings and you will get 40FPS gameplay. Interestingly, in PUBG New State you will get a 90FPS unlocked mode. So you can now play at 90FPS on phones below 10K.
Conclusion:
Overall, the moto G34 is probably the fastest phone under 10K with Qualcomm SD695 SoC. Yes, I would say it is the fastest phone. Android 14 out of the box and connectivity is amazing. I would say it should have been FHD+. Other than that, I think it’s a great phone under Rs 10k.
