A detailed analysis revealed that 10 grams of 24-karat gold averaged approximately Rs 64,860, while 22-karat gold averaged around Rs 59,460.
Simultaneously, the silver market also experienced an upward trajectory, reaching Rs 74,800 per kilogram.
Comparing the price of gold over time, it was recorded at Rs 3,103 per 10 grams on March 19, 2018. Today, it has surpassed Rs 65,000, marking a doubling in value over the past seven years. For instance, if someone had purchased 50 grams of gold in March 2018, they would have received Rs 325,000 if they sold it on the current date.
